<p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">80, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Theresa &ldquo;Terry&rdquo; (Gobidas) Moretti. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Henry and Genevieve (Papa) Moretti, Sr.</span></span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Henry worked as a supervisor for General Dynamics in Quonset for many years before retiring. Previously, he worked for EG &amp; G Sealol, Inc.</span></span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">His true passion was as a private pilot at Quonset Point. He flew in many air shows with his favorite World War II plane.</span></span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Besides his wife Terry, he is survived by his loving daughter Nicole Hockley of Newtown, CT, her former husband Ian Hockley and their son Jake Hockley; dear sister Kathleen Desnoyers and her husband Ronald of Cranston; nephew and niece Ronald Desnoyers, Jr. and Danielle Desnoyers. He is also survived by his niece Alison Peter. Henry was predeceased by his cherished grandson Dylan Hockley. He was also predeceased by his best friend, his dog Kate.</span></span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">His funeral services were private.</span></span></p>

Obituary

80, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Theresa “Terry” (Gobidas) Moretti. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Henry and Genevieve (Papa) Moretti, Sr.

 

Henry worked as a supervisor for General Dynamics in Quonset for many years before retiring. Previously, he worked for EG & G Sealol, Inc.

 

His true passion was as a private pilot at Quonset Point. He flew in many air shows with his favorite World War II plane.

 

Besides his wife Terry, he is survived by his loving daughter Nicole Hockley of Newtown, CT, her former husband Ian Hockley and their son Jake Hockley; dear sister Kathleen Desnoyers and her husband Ronald of Cranston; nephew and niece Ronald Desnoyers, Jr. and Danielle Desnoyers. He is also survived by his niece Alison Peter. Henry was predeceased by his cherished grandson Dylan Hockley. He was also predeceased by his best friend, his dog Kate.

 

His funeral services were private.
